RAY HORSBURGH

CHAIRMAN
Ray has been on the Essendon board since 2003 and was appointed Chairman in 2007. He is also Chairman of the Bill Hutchison Foundation and a trustee of the Past Players and Officials benevolent fund. Ray recently retired from Smorgon Steel Group after 14 years as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He is Chairman of Toll Holdings Ltd, a Director of CSR Ltd, National Can Ltd, and Traffic Technologies Ltd, and a board member of the Epworth hospital. He is a lifelong Essendon supporter and was an inaugural member of the Diamond Dons Cotorie group.




DARYL JACKSON

DEPUTY CHAIRMAN
Daryl is a distinguished architect, a Gold Medallist of RAIA, best known in sporting areas for his work at the MCG, Telstra Dome, Subiaco and the Gabba. Daryl travels frequently to represent his firm internationally, to undertake educational, scientific, health and civic projects as a Master Planner and design principal. Voted onto the Essendon Board in December 2004 he recognises that the past three seasons have not been representative of our best. Jackson is an Essendon person, educated at the State school in Raleigh Street and indelibly marked as a fan; a captain of the Under 19's, an Essendon reserves player and a Coleman Club member for some 15 years. His former public roles include Vice-President of Melbourne Cricket Club, National Gallery of Victoria and Chairman of Wesley College Council, the Australian Film Institute and Melbourne's Major Events Corporation. In October 2006 Daryl was elected Deputy Chairman of the Club by the Essendon Football Club Board.




PETER JACKSON

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Peter has been Chief Executive Officer since 1996. He was appointed Managing Director in September 2006. He is also a director of the Bill Hutchison Foundation, a harm prevention charity established to support programs for adolescents. Peter is Chairman of Canterbury Windows, a privately owned company with over 150 employees that manufactures and markets windows & doors.




KEVIN EGAN

CHAIRMAN OF SELECTORS
1965 premiership player. Kevin played 65 games before transferring to play with Port Adelaide in the S.A.N.F.L. Coached successfully in the Diamond Valley Football League before returning to the Essendon Football Club in 1976 as a full time administrator, spending the next 16 years as football manager. A life member of the club and elected to the board in December 1995. Currently works as a Director of Kirwan Painting & Building Services.




GREG BROWN

DIRECTOR
Greg was elected to the Board in December 2006. Formerly a Premiership player 1965, the Clubs first Marketing Manager in 1978 and later Chairman of the Dick Reynolds Club until 2005, elected EFC Life Member 2001. A Past President of Rotary Club of Frankston, current Chairman of the Lord's Taverners Australia and President of the Wranglers Charity Club Frankston. Owner of Gregory J Brown Pty Ltd Financial Planning Business since 1973. Life Member of the AMP Advisers Association, Trustee of the EFC Past Players Foundation and Director of Pretlock Ltd.





BEVERLY KNIGHT

DIRECTOR
Elected to the Essendon Football Club Board in 1993-2007, Beverly Knight was the first female AFL board member and first in Essendon's history. In 2003, she became the first female Life Member of the Essendon Football Club and is the longest serving board member. She is a member of the Football Club Audit Committee, Vice President of the Melton Country Club, member of the Essendon Women's Network and a director of AFL SportsReady (1995 - 2007). She had had a successful career in hospitality, property and the arts and is currently the director of Alcaston Gallery Melbourne, Australia's leading gallery in exhibiting indigenous art. Beverly is known for her commitment and support of indigenous families from socially isolated communities all over Australia, but in particular, young aboriginal footballers.





TIM JONAS

FINANCE DIRECTOR
Member of the Essendon Football Club Board and Finance Director since March 1997. Previously a member of the Diamond Dons coterie. Also Chairman of the EFC Audit Committee, Treasurer of Melton Country Club, member of Windy Hill Venue Operations Committee and member of Hutchison Club. Recently retired as National Chairman of Pitcher Partners, Accountants, Auditors & Advisors, but remains as a consultant to that firm. Director of a number of companies.




ALEC EPIS

DIRECTOR
Played with Essendon for 11 years and in that period played 180 games including four grand finals - 1959, 1962, 1965 and 1968. Played for Victoria four times and is a Life Member of the club. Has been a specialist coach with young players at Essendon for the past 20 years. Is proprietor of two wineries - "Epis" at Woodend and "Epis and Williams" at Kyneton.




BRAD TEAL

DIRECTOR
Brad Teal has been a Director of the Essendon Football Club since 1998, and is a long time supporter and player sponsor of the Essendon Football Club. He has never lost his connection with the local grass roots of Essendon, and the north-west of Melbourne, through his business network, sponsorship, and personal contribution to sporting organisations throughout the local area.




DAVID EVANS

DIRECTOR
David Evans was appointed to the Essendon Football Club Board in October 2006. He has worked with Goldman Sachs JBWere for 18 years and spent ten of these as a Director and has occupied senior roles such as CEO of the firms' Retail Business, and CEO of the firms' Equity Business. David is a Director of two ASX publicly listed companies; Healthscope Ltd and Mirrabooka Ltd. David recently started his own investment bank - Evans and Partners Pty Ltd, based in Port Melbourne.

Phil Pryor


PHIL PRYOR

DIRECTOR
Phil has been a senior company manager and Director for over 30 years. He has worked for prominent Australian and International companies with extensive experience in Asia. His current role is the CEO of the national technical institute for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Phil has an Economics degree and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Since boyhood, where Windy Hill was his local oval for playing both football and cricket for Essendon, he has been a passionate a committed Essendon supporter.
