The Cheersquad is an integral part of the Essendon Football Club. Aside from their invaluable contribution on game day with the banner and team support, cheersquad members are often called on during the season to help at club functions and with volunteer work on a day to day basis.

The banner is usually made on a Friday night for a Saturday or Sunday game and Wednesday and/or Thursday night for a Friday night game. All cheersquad members are invited to join the making of the banner - a fun night but definitely challenging! One of the most REWARDING feelings you will experience being a cheersquad member is seeing the banner go up before the game and knowing you were a part of the team making it.

We are always looking for new members to join the cheersquad!

There are so many other ways to help both the EFC and the cheersquad - selling raffle tickets, waving flags, helping with the newsletters, chants and banner slogans.

For further information on the Cheersquad please contact Luisa Gaetano on 9306 1037 between the hours of 10am-5pm.
