Essendon Football Club’s vision is to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field. The one constant that drives everything we do is the aim to be the sporting club that has the greatest positive impact on those people’s lives who engage with the club.
EFC AND CANCER COUNCIL HIT $1 MILLION!
Now into its fourth year, the Essendon Football Club / Cancer Council Victoria partnership has helped raise in excess of $1 million for cancer research.
The $1 million mark was passed during the recent Moonee Valley Relay For Life, which has been held at Windy Hill for the past three years. The 2009 Relay was also the largest in the history of the event, with 52 teams across the community participating.
The GLoBALL Program - developed in conjunction with Austrade, RMIT, City of Melbourne and the Australian Federation of International Students - aims to assist the international student community develop relationships with more established communities and organisations through Australian football.
Tiwi Bombers first ever home game
Essendon’s Northern Territory affiliate club, the Tiwi Bombers, created history recently by playing their first-ever home game on the Tiwi Islands.

It’s not often that senior executives of corporate partners roll up their sleeves as part of a sponsorship arrangement, but that’s what representatives from EFC’s Indigenous Program Partner – DESA Australia – did recently.
