Esssendon Football Club maintains a strong partnership with the Essendon District and Riddell District Football Leagues. The primary goal of this partnership is for the Club to continue to actively support the development of grassroots football within its traditional heartland of the North-West of Melbourne. 

In recognising the value of this community engagement, the Club was has a proud partnership with Melbourne Airport. With thanks to the support of Melbourne Airport the Club offers EDFL and RDFL clubs and junior players the opportunity to participate in inner sanctum experiences including:
