Essendon Football Club Donation Guidelines
The Essendon Football Club was established by the community for the community. It is something the club recognises and with that comes an obligation to play an active role within the community. As an elite sporting organisation we have the capacity to make a difference on many levels.
The club has worked extremely hard over the past few years to meet that obligation, including the implementation of a formal community strategy. As part of this strategy, Essendon Football Club provides support to numerous community and charitable organisations.
Essendon Football Club receives hundreds of requests each week and while the Club endeavours to provide support where it can, unfortunately we are unable to fulfil every request.
Please ensure you read the following information before submitting your request.
DONATIONS CRITERIA
Personal Requests
The Essendon Football Club receives hundreds of requests each month for signed merchandise. With only a limited number of signed items available each year, requests are not always successful with priority given to major charities and peak community organisations. Under some circumstances (e.g. limited availability) organisations may be requested to purchase an item for signing.Requests for Financial Assistance
The club is not in a position to offer cash donations or sponsorships.Signed Items
The club does not accept any items to be signed under any circumstances. Items sent to the club for this purpose may not be returned. We encourage all members and supporters to attend training sessions (as advertised on the website) as players are generally happy to sign autographs before and after training.Player Requests
The club does not accept player appearance requests. All player appearances are pre-allocated at the beginning of each year for the club’s community programs, club functions and contracted AFL school / clubs visits.Match Tickets
A limited numbers of match tickets may be available for some EFC home games. Please complete and submit a request form outlining which match you wish to attend and how many tickets you require (maximum 10 per organisation per year).Lodging Requests
