Walking School Bus
Essendon Football Club is a proud supporter of the City of Moonee Valley ‘Walking School Bus’ program, which encourages physical activity in primary school aged children.
The program, which currently operates in eight primary schools throughout the City of Moonee Valley, sees children walk to school under the supervision of trained volunteers. Each weekday the Bus walks a designated route, picking up and delivering children at 'bus stops' on the way to school.
