Target group:   Primary school – reluctant readers

Age:                   Grade 3 to 6

Cost:                  No charge

A class sets of the novel “Pencil O’Reilly” is provided to schools who register their interest by contacting the Youth and Education Coordinator.  The novel has been written specifically for students in grades 3 to 6 and aims to encourage reluctant readers (especially boys) to read.  A teacher resource booklet is also given to each class with activities based on Bloom’s Taxonomy and questions about each chapter in the “kids” section of the Essendon Football Club website. For more information please email Michelle Murray at mmurray@essendonfc.com.au
