If you enjoy a prestigious and high-profile football experience, then the Chairman’s Function should not be missed. Chairman's Function Family Event


In 2010, Essendon Football Club (EFC) is proud to present two new opportunities to experience a family-friendly setting on match day. At Etihad Stadium on Easter Sunday Round 2, and at our last home game in Round 21 you can enjoy a unique day at the football with your family. The day includes entertainment for all ages at these two events in a smart casual setting.

Mitchelton and Preece Lounge


Entertain your clients, family or friends at a relaxed cocktail function like no other and build your business networks while enjoying the excitement of our great game. Available for Round 10 vs Bulldogs, Round 12 vs Geelong and Round 18 vs St Kilda.

Clients Receive:
  • A vibrant atmosphere ideal for networking
  • Canapés and half-time refreshments
  • Full beverage service including Mitchelton and Preece wines, beer and soft drink prior to the game and at half-time

*All guests attending Essendon Football Club matchday functions, must be 18 years or over. No guests under the age of 18 will be permitted into the function rooms. (This only applies to the corporate dining rooms, not suites)

Corporate Suite


Want a room with a view? Corporate suites boast spectacular views of the ground and Essendon has suites to accommodate 12 guests (Etihad Stadium) and up to 14 guests (MCG). It is a spectacular and luxurious way to enjoy the football.

Man of the Match Partnership package


Be part of the inner sanctum and see what really happens with this man of the match experience. You and nine guests will experience all the action from the rooms – something every football fan would love to be part of; then enjoy the game in style. It’s a “money can’t buy” experience…but not anymore!

Clients Receive:
  • A table of 10 at the EFC Chairman’s function
  • A visit to the rooms prior to the commencement of the game
  • A company plug from the Chairman during his speech
  • A 10 guest pass to visit the rooms after the game, and are presented with the signed man of the match playing jumper or match-day ball. This presentation is conducted by the Chairman and the selected man of the match
  • A photo opportunity with man of the match and guests

Interstate Hospitality


Enjoy the beautiful and historic SCG as part of this package when the Bombers clash with the Swans. This is a wonderful opportunity for Sydney-based and travelling corporates to enjoy Essendon’s first-class matchday hospitality at the SCG.

Non Essendon games and big tickets events at the MCG


Not only is our Corporate Suite at the MCG available for all Essendon home games, you can utilise it for any AFL match of your choice - including finals! So if your clients want to see Collingwood play Carlton, we can make it happen.

But if football is not your thing, we can get you the hottest tickets in town for major Melbourne events such as the Socceroo’s World Cup Qualifiers, the Boxing Day Test and even rock concerts such as The Police! Whatever is in town and down at the ‘G, we can get you in.

Toyota AFL Grand Final Day


The AFL Grand Final really is more than a game – it’s a cultural experience and at Essendon we do experiences better than anyone. Take the stress out of securing tickets to the biggest day on the Australian sporting calendar with this package.

The 2010 Toyota AFL Finals will once again serve up a month long celebration of all things great about our truly national game. With the anticipation of a Victorian resurgence after many years of interstate domination, fans are waiting with baited breath for a battle royal, culminating on the last Saturday in September with the ultimate – Toyota AFL Grand Final day.

You can get a piece of the action with your own Corporate Suite at any, or all, of the Finals games played at the MCG.
