Essendon will face a highly-charged Melbourne line up on Saturday night when the two sides go head-to-head at the MCG.

The red and black will be raring to go after downing Adelaide in the season opening game by 35-points, but despite their recent form, Melbourne has had the better of Essendon in their past three clashes.

The last time the two sides met, Melbourne caused the upset of the Bombers’ season defeating the red and black by six points 8.10 (58) to 6.16 (52).
