A gala dinner has been announced to celebrate the role Essendon champion Ken Fletcher has played in the success of Penleigh and Essendon Grammar’s First XVIII team over the last 25 years.

Everyone is invited to attend a once in a generation celebration of PEGS footy at Etihad Stadium’s Medallion Club on Monday 14 October.

Ken played over 250 matches for the Bombers as a dashing wingman before retiring to take up teaching.

Fletcher has been involved in an unrivalled era at PEGS over the last 25 years as both a teacher and football coach, highlights by 10 premierships.

Tributes on the nights will be paid by North Melbourne Premiership Captain and great mate Barry Davis, PEGS football identity Mark (Mocca) O’Connell and various AFL stars.

The night is a great chance for former PEGS teammates to reunite and celebrate your contribution to this piece of football history.
