Essendon Football Club is working in close partnership with Melbourne’s vibrant and growing Indian community to provide opportunities to engage with Australian Rules Football and enjoy all the excitement and thrill of supporting the Essendon Football Club.
On Sunday, the club supported this commitment at the Dussehra Festival at the Sri Durga Temple in Rockbank.
Over 3000 people were in attendance at one of the most important Hindu festivals, with special performances taking place throughout the day.
Essendon mascot Skeeta joined in the celebrations, with free club giveaways and football activities and stations.
