Team rivalry will be set aside for one day as footy fans unite in the name of fun and frivolity at the annual Grand Final Comedy Debate on Thursday 25 September.

Moderated by funnyman Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann, the debate will star an impressive high-profile panel including Dave Hughes, Justin Hamilton, Michael Chamberlin, Kate McLennan, Anne Edmonds and Sam Pang who will entertain guests with a fiery contest right up until the final siren.

Held at Crown Palladium and hosted by Channel Seven’s Hamish McLachlan, this signature event is a highlight occasion during Grand Final Week celebrations.

Especially popular with female footy fans, this year’s special event is sure to cause a stir with a hilarious celebrity debate on the controversial issue, “That video killed the footy star – we can’t rewind, we’ve gone too far”.

Guests, including high profile celebrities, WAGs and footy players, will enjoy a delicious set two-course menu, a silent and live auction to raise money for Bully Zero Australia Foundation and an unforgettable performance from the stars of the hit musical production, Les Misérables.

The event will also see the announcement of the highly anticipated Football Woman Of The Year Award.
