Former Richmond ruckman Andrew Browne has had discussions with Essendon about a contract in 2015 according to the Herald Sun. Brown has played for Keilor in the EDFL for the last two seasons. 

Monday October 13

Reports on SEN Radio suggest Hawthorn ruckman Luke Lowden has met with the club to undergo a medical test.

Essendon and Port Adelaide must restart negotiations over Paddy Ryder after the Bombers decided against releasing the 26-year-old from the final two years of his contract so he could move to the Power as  a free agent according to The Age.

Sunday October 12

The Herald Sun is reporting North Melbourne are trying to pip Essendon in recruiting Brownlow Medallist Adam Cooney for the 2015 season.

Friday October 10

Western Bulldogs veteran Adam Cooney has met with the Bombers according to a report in The Age and is expected to look for a new home heading into the 2015 season.

Thursday October 9

The Age is reporting Essendon has not lost hope on persuading Jason Winderlich to play on for the Bombers next year with a number of key officials contacting him in recent days.

Kyle Hardingham's manager has told The Age he is seeking new opportunities at a new club in 2015 and has requested a trade.

Wednesday October 8

Young midfielder Elliott Kavanagh has requested a trade in search of more opportunities according to the Herald Sun.

The Herald Sun is also reporting the club is attempting to lure Greater Western Sydney key position player Kristan Jaksch to the Bombers despite his determination to go to Carlton.

Jason Winderlich has repoterdly (Herald Sun) told the club he will not play for the Bombers again in 2015 but is determined to return to play for Richmond.

Coach James Hird tells BomberTV Jason Winderlich and Ben Howlett are both required players and he is hopeful they will remain at the club next season. Hird also says if a 'good' deal can not be done for Paddy Ryder then he will remain an Essendon player.

Tuesday October 7

Johnathon Giles manager Tom Petroro confirms Essendon has shown a strong interest in recruiting the GWS big man.

Jason Winderlich is reported in both The Age and Herald Sun to have been approached by Richmond about joining them in 2015.

Monday October 6

Essendon list manager Adrian Dodoro leaves today's trade meetings confident Howlett will re-sign within the next 24 hours.

He also confirms the club is simply seeking a fair trade for Patrick Ryder who has indicated his desire to be traded to Port Adelaide. 

Out of contract midfielder Ben Howlett has been linked to Carlton and Fremantle in a report in the Herald Sun.

Friday October 3

Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps tells SEN Radio he understands pick 16 won't get the Patrick Ryder deal over the line.

Sydney forward Tom Membrey has indicated his desire to come home with the Herald Sun reporting Essendon as one of the front runners for his signature.

Tuesday September 30

Courtenay Dempsey's manager Justin Reid has told AFL Trade Radio that his client has no interest in moving to another club and wants to remain a Bomber in 2015.

The Herald Sun reports Essendon has shown some interest in Carlton small forward Jeff Garlett.

Monday September 29

Mitch Clark has narrowed his choice of club’s down with The Age reporting Essendon and Carlton remains only outside chance to secure the forward. Clark’s choice is reportedly down to Geelong or Collingwood.

Patrick Ryder’s manager Paul Connors tells AFL Trade Radio it is all about getting a fair deal for Essendon in the trade period. Ryder has nominated Port Adelaide as his club of choice and agrees that pick 16 is not enough to get the deal done.
