Thanks to the generosity of Essendon fans and major sponsoradidas, the club was able to raise close to $2000 this ANZAC Day.

In order to raise money for the Victorian branch of the RSL,adidas created a 4.2 metre replica of the club’s first ever ANZAC Day guernsey,replacing the sash with 1500 real poppies.

For a gold coin donation, fans were able to take their ownpoppy from the sash to commemorate the 100^th anniversary of theGallipoli landings.

The club would like to thank everyone who visited theguernsey and donated to the RSL.
