Joe Daniher's starring role on an otherwise disappointing afternoon for the Bombers has not gone unnoticed.

The tall forward finihsed the day with 21 disposals, 11 marks and four goals in Essendon's 82-point loss to the Crows.

His tireless work up and down the ground has earned him praise both internally and externally.

Daniher was the only Bombers' player to feature in the Round 19 AFL Coaches Association votes, picking up three.

He was also named in AFL.com.au's 'Team of the Week' playing as a centre half forward.

It is the second time that Daniher has been named in the team, with his first inclusion coming after Round 2 where he took 15 marks and kicked two goals.

The 22-year old has had a drastically improved back half of the season.

After starting the year slowly, kicking seven goals in seven games, Daniher has booted 27 goals in his last 11 matches to equal his previous career best total of 34 goals with four games still to play.
