The Essendon Football Club will honour the service and sacrifice of its past players who have fought for their country in the defence forces, with a specially designed ANZAC Day guernsey.

The jumper features the Club’s traditional red sash, formed with the iconic red poppies representing the Essendon players who lost their lives at War.

The guernsey was designed by Essendon’s official apparel partner ISC.

It also features the 2017 ANZAC appeal logo and a Club heritage logo on the back of the jumper emanating from the World War One era.

Essendon’s players will wear the jumper against Collingwood in round five.

Part proceeds from the sale of the jumper will be donated to RSL Victoria.

The Guernsey is available in store at Bomber Shop HQ and online.
