Fans flocked to see John Coleman fly for marks and kick loads of goals throughout his short but brilliant career.

Ahead of the Country Festival this Saturday, Essendon Legend Kevin Sheedy has taken on the task of selecting his ten best players from the bush. 

The four-time premiership Coach gave honourable mentions to Jack Dyer, Luke Hodge, Tim Watson, Bernie Quinlan, Matthew Scarlett, Barry Hall, Joel Selwood and Patrick Dangerfield.

But such is the quality of the top ten, they didn’t make final cut.
