NAB is today excited to announce the next instalment of NAB Mini Legends, the NAB Mini Legends Draft.

The NAB Mini Legends Draft gives kids all over Australia the chance to star in the 2017 NAB Mini Legends campaign which will launch in August. Budding football stars can enter by submitting a video emulating their AFL hero at nab.com.au/afl.

Last year’s NAB Mini Legends campaign featured kids from around Australia stepping into the shoes of some of the biggest names in the AFL, including a bearded Max Gawn, super slick Gary Ablett, and a rough and ready Joel Selwood.

NAB Chief Marketing Officer Andrew Knott believes the NAB Mini Legends Draft celebrates NAB’s support of footballers from NAB AFL Auskick to the big time.

“We’re really excited to see the passion of budding footballers from across the country,” Mr Knott said.

“The NAB Mini Legends campaign celebrates NAB’s support of footy, showcasing kids who aspire to play like their heroes.”

The competition opens on Tuesday 27 June, with entries closing on Tuesday 11th July.

Richard Smikiss, AFL General Manager Commercial, is proud of the ongoing partnership between NAB and the AFL.

“The NAB Mini Legends campaign highlights the strong partnership we both enjoy and provided such a highlight last year,” Mr Smikiss said.

“We’re looking forward to seeing who will be a Mini Legend this year and encourage all kids to enter the NAB Mini Legends Draft.”

NAB has been a partner of the AFL since 2002 and has sponsored Auskick since 2006. Earlier this year, NAB proudly became the naming rights sponsor for the NAB AFL Women’s competition.
