Patrick Ambrose will play his first competitive match since ANZAC Day when Essendon VFL take on Casey on Saturday night.
The Dons defender has spent most of the season on the sidelines because of a quad injury, but he returns to Paul Corrigan's side this weekend and is expected to play a full game.
Wins over North Ballarat and the Northern Blues have seen the Bombers move to fourth on the ladder ahead of the clash with the ninth placed Scorpians.
