Cale Hooker is free to play against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday after he was given the all-clear by the Match Review Panel.

The MRP assessed an incident between Hooker and North Melbourne’s Daniel Nielson.

But contact was deemed 'negligible' and 'with an open hand push', clearing the way for Hooker to line-up against the Bulldogs.

Here is the official finding of the Match Review Panel:

Contact between Essendon’s Cale Hooker and North Melbourne’s Daniel Nielson from the fourth quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. The panel said Hooker made negligible contact with an open-hand push. No further action was required.
