Inaccuracy plagued Essendon in round 20, but the Bombers snatched victory with the final three goals of the game in a stirring eight-point win.

Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti ignited Essendon late in the match, booting two of the last three goals to send the fans into raptures.

Skipper Dyson Heppell put in an impressive performance with 34 disposals, six clearances and a goal as David Zaharakis continued his stellar season with 33 disposals.
