Essendon will hold its annual Family Day on Saturday February 17th from 10am – 12pm at The Hangar.

Following feedback from our members, the 2018 Family Day will include a new and improved format providing fans with more access to interact with players.

The players will take part in a number of activities during the Family Day, including a one hour session dedicated to player autographs around the boundary of the MCG sized oval, a special kids only footy clinic and appearances at a number of sponsor and partner activation sites.

For the first time, kids aged between 5 to 14 will have the opportunity to partake in a kid’s clinic with selected players on the oval. If your child would like to participate in the clinic, please register your interest here. The kid’s clinic is for children only and adults will not be permitted access onto the oval during the clinic. Adults will be able to watch their children from the boundary line outside of the fence. Kids must have appropriate clothing attire, football boots and thongs are not permitted for the clinic.

With the players involved in various activities throughout the grounds we will no longer be holding an official presentation of the team on stage, however fans will still have the opportunity to hear from the likes of John Worsfold, Dyson Heppell and other players throughout the morning. There will not be a training session connected to this event, open training sessions will be advertised throughout the season.
