The Essendon side to take on Werribee in Round 15 has been revealed, with a feel-good story lining up for his first game.

After twenty months fighting knee and ankle injuries, leadership group member Sam Hooper will at last make his Essendon debut in his starting position of the back pocket.

AFL Bombers Kobe Mutch and Jayden Laverde enter the side on the wing and half-forward flank respectively. Last week’s debutant Kalan Huntly has held his place in the side after being named on the extended interchange bench.

The Bombers will play from 2.10pm on Saturday at Avalon Airport Oval. The final team will be announced before the bounce.
