Essendon will continue to recognise and celebrate its members’ loyalty and commitment to the club with new milestone patches to be introduced in 2019.

In the past, members who reached a milestone year (be it 5, 10, 15 or even 85) received a lapel pin to commemorate the milestone.

But in 2019 the pin is set to be replaced with the exciting new milestone patches.

You told us that you want to proudly display your years of membership, and now you can do it in a brand new way.

The club recommends wearing it with honour on your new members scarf, but it can still be sewn or ironed onto a number of items.

And don’t worry, all adult and concession members will still receive their 2019 lapel pin.

The patches will be sent to members who reach a milestone year in 2019 before the start of the season.

The inclusion of milestone patches is our fifth membership improvement ahead of the 2019 season, following on from:
- Our scarf vote when members had their say to select our next member scarf.
- Our commitment to bring back the member card.
- Our improvements to the membership call centre.
- Our freeze on reserved seat membership prices.
