Essendon Football Club is pleased to announce Trent Mynott has extended his contract with the Bombers for a further year.

Mynott was drafted to the Club with pick 11 in the 2017 NAB AFL Rookie Draft.

GM List and Recruiting Adrian Dodoro said Mynott has a promising future.

“Trent is a terrific young player with a great attitude,” Dodoro said.

“We think we has a bright future ahead as an inside midfielder, hopefully he will make his debut to AFL next season.

“He has had a big off-season and we look forward to seeing what he can achieve in 2019.”

The 19-year-old played 17 games for the Bombers VFL side in 2018. He will remain on Essendon’s rookie list for season 2019.
