Dyson’s diary:
"The seven day trip to India was an incredible experience. On our travels we saw many weird & wonderful things, amazing places and cultural experiences. We also witnessed first-hand the very real challenges faced by a third world country...”
Final Day – Thursday 13th October
“After the morning gyms session, we headed for the Airport at 9am. It was last chance to witness the Mumbai traffic and to get some final souvenirs for the family. Sitting on the plane at Mumbai airport ready to fly out to Singapore was a great time to reflect on an amazing week we have just had.
India is an incredible place and the people are friendly and incredibly resilient. I think I’ll remember this trip for the rest of my life and I’ll definitely be back. I’d love to play an AFL game in Mumbai so we could take our amazing game to the Indian people and for our player to experience this incredible country.
In the meantime I will really get behind our GLoBALL program that welcomes newly arrived migrants and international students to both AFL and cricket including our ‘Australia Day goes GLoBALL‘ at Windy Hill.
Go Bombers and many thanks again for the amazing opportunity.”
