Important finals ticketing information

Essendon members can get their hands on 2011 Toyota AFL Finals Series tickets from 9am Monday.

The Bombers will take on Carlton in an Elimination Final on Sunday 11 September at 2.40pm.

Ticket information is as follows:

Club Members Priority Booking Period
Monday 5 September - 9am to 9pm EST

Beyond The Boundary Members - Check email inbox for details
Tuesday 6 September - 9am to 11am EST

MCC Members
Monday 5 September - 12noon EST

AFL Members
Tuesday 6 September - 9am EST

General Public
Tuesday 6 September - 12noon EST

All tickets can be purchased through Ticketek by clicking here or by calling 132 849.

Game day access members will have the ability to purchase finals tickets (2 per membership barcode - maximum 8 per transaction) by quoting their 12-digit member barcode. During this time, members are required to purchase a finals ticket that is equivalent to the type of membership held (i.e. adult membership can only purchase an adult finals ticket).

Non-members will have access to purchase tickets on Tuesday 6 September from 12noon.

Essendon Football Club would like to advise all members and supporters the Windy Hill administration base will not be operating as a ticketing outlet in the lead up to the 2011 Toyota AFL Finals Series.

Standard: Adult from $44.50
Prime: Adult from $59.50
Premium: Adult from $73.50
Restricted view: Adult from $39.50
Standing: Adult from $39.50

Anyone know the difference between Prime and Premium? Would Prime be level 1 and Premium level 2?

So does the members ticket simply mean "one" ticket in a designated area. Or are we able to buy more than one ticket in an available area?

MCG as ticketek is only mcg and however can we as members purchase other tickets for people to come with us? or do we have to wait till wednesday?

Word on the street was Sydney would get the Sunday game if they get 6th spot. Apparently their supporters are more active on sundays as rugby is often given priority on a Saturday?

this sucks beyond the boundry members are not classed as members and have to wait till public sales so why even bother to be interstate paying member
