Essendon Football Club has kicked off the new year by passing the 30,000 member target ahead of the 2012 season.

With the club looking to make their mark in the competition this year, the time is now to stand as one with the Bombers, as the official tally currently stands at 31,380.

EI...this is only a minor amount, but i,m not likely to use the $20.00 voucher in the membership pack. Is there any way that $20.00 "gift" can be re-allocated to the Flight Plan fund? I have more clothes, DVD's and nic nacs than I reasonably need, so can I invest the amount back in the club. Maybe others may do the same. $20 bucks is nothing much, but 5 peeople doing the same gets you $100. Let me know and i'll post it back.

becoming a member of your football team is such a rewarding experience. To feel part of the club, to belong to something you believe in. One of the best things you could do for yourself,your loved ones, your club & its' players. You won't ever regret the decision. Become a part of the Essendon dream. BEST THING I EVER DID.

And when you think that in 1993 the club had around 10,000 members. We have come a long way.
