Nice to see the boys give each other big hugs. Diane

Agreed, Diane. Good to see the boys have each other to lean on when times are tough.
Now I have a quick question. Are the player profiles going to be updated after the boys return to full training, or is the club waiting until they've seen them play NAB Cup?
Reminds me of Noel and Bob Di, fulfilling their New Year's resolution!
I still remember the criticism of this guy (on this website, too) that he would not cut it...too small. Well, hasn't he shown a few people to be wrong. Even in the modern game, lack of height CAN be compensated by skill, pace, attitude and belief. No such thing as a true "rover" in today's game, but Colyer is as close as you can get.
The increased size and physical strength that Coly has gained over the last few months will help him to be more effective at winning the ball in heavy traffic. Add his pace to that, and this 20 year old will get even better with more match experience.
A player who gets the most out of his small frame. He will have to compete with a lot of other young guys for a midfield role in the next couple of years but he seems to have the right stuff to do it.
Travis, enjoy the day mate. We look forward to seeing a dominating Travis speed machine, with strength to flick off the tacklers. Keep focussed to be the best mate.
Travis your speed & agility on the field is exciting to watch. Tad concerned about the sunshine on a Summers' night tho. he he he.
Have a huge pre-season. Enjoy the break.
Trav, you have the heart of a lion & don't take a backward step. This year take another step up the ladder, you will kill em this year.
I'm a big Trav fan. Good to have you back David - worth the wait! Happy new year.
P.S Vaughan. (Sunshine is a hot little babe Trav has been seeing).
The baby face has definately gone,a man has appeared. One of many who new he would make it,just didnt think he would bulk up so quickly.I also think its cruel tpo put up all these great bodies and all the male supporters are supposed to think clearly :-) Diane
quick, tough and gives cheek - if he's built up and retained/improved endurance, damned hany type...
Happy New Year All :-)
As you know Dave,at our "friends of the forum meet" which Kris was a part of as well,I turned up with two pair of boxing gloves,but..alas... the scarlet pimpernel was there not.. (prob sewing a button back on his blouse,in the back stalls of the medclub..) they seek him here... they seek him there... but the retired part time champion ruck champ/jumbo sausage roll lover must have been jammed in a doorway somewhere, crying wolf... Bob's "don't play the rag doll jimmy/in Hird I trust" 180s,hopefully will be a thing of the past, when he decides to cross the bridge to where the rest of us are,and says Go Bombers !!
Noel, everyone, including the man himself, keep describing the oakleigh oaf as a part time ruckman, but I'll bet that if a vote was taken, most people would say that he was a "half back flanker" (if you know what I mean) :-)
Real gutsy ball magnet, just wonder why he kept getting dropped. ???
