Welsh kicks an amazing adidas SuperBoot goal

Andrew Welsh put his goal kicking skills on display today, producing a freak effort that was almost too good to believe. The clip is available on Essendonfc.com.au by clicking here and was filmed as part of the club's launch of the 2010 adidas SuperBoot competition.

Hurley to play as a key forward in 2010

One of the biggest questions surrounding the Essendon team was answered today with Matthew Knights confirming emerging star Michael Hurley will play forward this season. The 19-year-old - who will miss the first part of the season through a club imposed suspension - was drafted as a key defender but Knights said he will join players like Scott Gumbleton and Jay Neagle in attack. | |
