What some of the Essendon fans had to say:
Needs to prove to supporters that he was worth picking up. Didn't have the impact expected of him this year but will hopefully return to his best next season. (Casey Scholten)
Scott Camporeale this year added stability in all areas. He was able to consistently win the ball and then use his experience to dispose of it well, establishing himself as an anchor like figure in the midfield. (Anthony Caccamo)
Serviceable year from Camporeale, but didn't have quite the impact expected by many. (Julian McGuire)
His experience and ability to read the play was positive for the team and hopefully he can deliver in 2007. (Rod Ansell)
I think we got good value from Scott. His injury didn't help him, but he was certainly a contributor and I think he will help the younger players. (Joan Hill)
He still has the ability to influence the run of a game. He disposes the ball well and is a key to effective delivery into the forwards. (Graeme Manning)
Showed occasional glimpses of very good form & look forward to greater output in 2007 with some solid midfield support. (Peter McDonald)
Scott showed he can still have a dynamic impact as definitely among our best in some games. (Roderick Brown)
