Ty Zantuck's pace and attack on the ball were his greatest assets.

He played nine senior games in 2005, averaging just under 14 possessions each game. In Round 2, playing deep in defence, he managed to keep Carlton spearhead Brendan Fevola to one goal.

He was delisted at the end of 2005 after several off-field disciplinary problems .

Ty's father, Shane, played 149 games for North Melbourne, South Melbourne and Melbourne (1974-1986). His uncles both played for North Melbourne (Arnold, 161 games, 1972-1983, and Robert, nine games, 1976-1978).

Charles "Chook" Zinnick was a talented follower and defender who came from Yarraville Juniors and played 13 games in 1921. He was selected in the League side that played Bendigo in that year.

After leaving Essendon, he played with Footscray (VFA) between 1922 and 1924 and was a member of their VFA premiership sides in both those years. He played one further game with Footscray after the Bulldogs joined the Victorian Football League in 1925.

Zinnick died on 5th August, 1967.
