It was arguably one of the most impressive returns from a knee reconstruction. The dangerous defender was one of the most consistent performers the Bombers, his pace and skill, not to mention a number of memorable goals off half-back helped the Club to a number of memorable wins. With another full pre-season under his belt him, who knows what he’ll be capable of in 2013.

It was a devastating blow for the Bombers when Dempsey tore his ACL in round four and needed a knee reconstruction. They dearly missed his run, speed and dare off the half-back line for the rest of the year. The 24-year-old was expected to be available for the start of 2012, his sixth season at the club.
