Player Bio

Essendon selected the small midfileder with its only pick in the 2013 Pre-Season Draft. Hams trained with the Bombers after being overlooked in the National Draft and impressed the club with his work ethic and professionalism. The left-footer has strong endurance and attacks the ball ferociously. Hams, who can also play as a defender, averaged 11.5 disposals in four games for VicCountry at the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.

Draft history: 2013 NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft 1st round selection(Essendon) No.6 overall.
