Big Bomber Tweet Up

Essendon is hosting the first ever AFL Tweet Up! What's a Tweet Up you ask? Good question.

The Big Bomber Tweet Up is an exclusive match day event for our loyal Twitter follows who want to talk all things Twitter, Social Media and of course Red and Black.

We have secured a great line-up of special guests including a panel of experts who will discuss how Twitter and social media is changing the face of the sporting landscape.

The Panel

• Sam Edmund - Journalist, Herald Sun
• Ed Wyatt - US Sports expert and Radio Presenter, SEN
• Finn Bradshaw - Herald Sun Editor including SuperFooty
• Jonathan Simpson - Digital Marketing Manager, Essendon Football Club
• Mark Macgugan - Social Media Coordinator, AFL

Special Guests

• Essendon player (TBC)
• Steve Alessio - Essendon Premiership Player, AFLPA

There will be an opportunity to have your photo taken with Steve and the 2000 Premiership Cup and then the Essendon player once they arrive. You can even share it immediately with your friends via Twitpic!

All participants will also get the opportunity to form a guard of honour on the ground as the team runs through the banner - a great inner sanctum experience for fans in our final home and away game for the 2010 season.

• Sunday 22nd August at Etihad Stadium (The Studio, enter Gate 2)
• 12pm - 1.30pm - Tweet Up
• 1.50pm Pre-game on ground experience
• 2.10pm Essendon v Brisbane
• Official Tweet Up Hastag #efctweetup

Cost

• Ground entry
• Premium Level 2 reserved seat
• Meat Pie and soft drink
• Photo opportunity with players and the 2000 Premiership Cup
• Inner sanctum on-ground experience pre-game

The Tweet Up is limited to 50 guests, so you will need to get in early to secure your place in AFL history. Ticket Collection to be arranged once booking has been processed.
