LAWDONS

The Lawdons is a group of Essendon supporters involved in the legal profession. The group which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2008, was started in 1999 by its founding chair, Tony Howard QC, now a Judge of the County Court. It enables lawyers; their staff and others to interact and network through their common love of football and shared passion for the Bombers and to entertain guests and clients in a relaxed setting.

You don't have to be legally qualified to join the Lawdons, although you do need to be connected with the law. Nor do you have to become a financial member, although you will help the club if you do! You can join up for free. The group currently numbers about 325 members consisting of male and female representatives of the judiciary, barristers, solicitors, corporate and academic lawyers, law students and others.
