Cale Hooker is a tall, lightly framed, key position player who can take a strong mark, has exceptional athleticism and excellent skills.
Originally from East Fremantle, he played most of 2008 with the Bendigo Bombers but was given his opportunity to play senior football in Round 21, 2008, against the Western Bulldogs.
Owing to many injuries at the Club Hooker was the 39th player to play in 2008.
He was another of the young players to have a breakthrough year in 2009. He played 16 games for the year and had many good performances on more seasoned opponents.
