Standing 197cm tall and with speed and endurance to burn, 20-year-old Scott Gumbleton is the X-factor Bomber of season 2009. The young West Australian failed to play a single senior game in 2008 after another unfortunate run of injuries, but did enough in five AFL games in 2007 to suggest he could be anything. If he can get his body right, Scott will be looking to become a permanent key-position prospect. Scott has had an extremely impressive pre-season and the 2006 No. 2 national draft pick will be keen to show he is well-worth the wait.
