An output of only six games in 2009 – his third year at AFL level – was below the expectations of both player and club, and the West Australian will be looking to make big strides this season. Needs to build greater endurance to be able to run through the midfield for longer periods and prevent himself from being typecast as a crumbing forward.

Career Profile

Leroy Jetta is an exciting player with great pace, tremendous skills and ability to beat opponents. He exploded into the AFL in 2007, playing four games and kicking three goals, to start the 2007 season. Injury cut short his appearances but he returned to play football with Essendon affiliate club Bendigo Bombers.

He had a more consistent season in 2008 playing 18 games and is shaping up to be one of the game's more exciting young players.
