The Bombers will be inspired by some mini heroes on Sunday when they do battle with Port Adelaide at Marvel Stadium, in the annual ‘Tackling Childhood Cancer’ clash in partnership with proud partner, Challenge.

Marking the sixth annual clash and again joining forces with the Club’s charity partner for over 20 years on Sunday, the Bombers will be raising funds and awareness to support children and their families living with cancer, and 22 young Challenge kids will run out onto the ground with the Bombers pre-game.

Sadly, five Victorian children are diagnosed with cancer every week. Challenge is a not-for-profit organisation that supports children and families living with cancer, 365 days a year. Their support is free and immediate, helping to lighten the cancer journey by addressing the practical, social, and emotional needs of all their members.

Bombers players will proudly wear the Challenge logo on their guernsey on Sunday, as well as the traditional yellow armband, inspired by former premiership player and cancer survivor Adam Ramanauskas.

With proceeds going to Challenge, the signed and match-worn guernseys from Sunday will be auctioned off to support Challenge and kids with cancer. Click here to purchase your guernsey https://fundraise.challenge.org.au/tcc

The club would also like to acknowledge its longest-serving partner Yakult and their ongoing support of Challenge.
