Dylan Shiel continues to shine in the eyes of the coaches, sweeping up the most AFLCA votes of any Bomber for the third game this season.

The star recruit delivered on the biggest stage of the home-and-away season, earning five votes after recording 34 disposals, seven clearances, seven tackles and nine inside 50s on Anzac Day.

Shiel now sits in equal eighth position on the AFLCA leaderboard with 23 votes, having also topped the Bombers for votes in the wins over Melbourne (round three) and North Melbourne (round five).

In just his second game back from a lengthy injury layoff, Joe Daniher collected three votes for his four-goal haul against Collingwood, while Adam Saad (one vote) also earned praise.

The Shadforth Financial AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award is voted by the 18 senior coaches on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis after each home-and-away game.
