Essendon VFL has made five changes to its line-up for its clash with North Melbourne at Windy Hill on Saturday.

Senior-listed Bombers Matt Dea and Tom Jok headline the inclusions, with the match to mark Jok's first since the victory over Northern Blues in early June.

Daniel Guccione and Jacob Brown have been recalled, while Daniel Hanna - an Essendon Next Generation Academy player and the son of Carlton great Mil Hanna - comes in as the 23rd player.

Kobe Mutch was a casualty in Sunday's win over Coburg, suffering a fractured knee cap that will keep him sidelined for an extended period.

The young midfielder joins Brayden Ham (AFL emergency), Michael Hartley (AFL emergency), Josh Tynan and Ben Huggard in exiting last week's side.

The Bombers will be aiming to win their sixth game in a row and stay a game clear on top of the ladder.

When these sides last met in round three, Essendon proved too strong with a resounding 94-point win at Avalon Airport Oval.

Saturday's game will begin at 12pm at Windy Hill on Saturday. Follow Essendon VFL on Twitter for live updates.
