Star Bomber Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti has been nominated for the JLT Mark of the Year for his courageous grab in Essendon’s thrilling victory over Gold Coast on Sunday.

McDonald-Tipungwuti took the incredible mark midway through the second term, sprinting back with the flight with reckless abandon to reach the contest for a skied ball and crashing into the pack to take the mark on his chest.

The nomination comes off the back three Coates Hire Goal of the Year nominations throughout the season, including a pair against North Melbourne in round 17.

The brilliant forward is joined by Sun Ben King and Hawthorn’s Jack Gunston among the nominations this week, and you can vote for McDonald-Tipungwuti below to keep him in the running for the major award.
