Essendon midfielder Dylan Shiel has been offered a two-match ban for engaging in rough conduct against North Melbourne's Curtis Taylor.

Shiel's bump on Taylor was classified by Match Review Officer Michael Christian as 'high impact'.

He can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.
