The AFL has today announced the game times for the remaining rounds of the season, setting the stage for Essendon's big run home to season 2025.
The fixture will see the Bombers feature in three Friday night games against the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda at home at Marvel Stadium, and Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.
Essendon's first match after the Round 16 bye is against the Gold Coast SUNS at Marvel Stadium on Saturday July 5 kicking off at 12.35pm. The match will be the club's annual Essendon Community Game.
The Essendon Football Club's Community Game is an initiative to celebrate the club’s diverse fan base and introduce more people to Australian Rules Football. The event aims to make AFL and AFLW games accessible and welcoming, particularly to new fans and community members from various backgrounds, including culturally diverse groups, Indigenous communities, local organisations, local sports clubs, and the disability inclusion community.
Our key home games at Marvel Stadium include Round 19 against the GWS Giants on Thursday July 17, which will host the annual Challenge Game supporting kids with cancer.
The Essendon Football Club's "Challenge Game" is an annual event dedicated to supporting Challenge, a charity that assists children living with cancer. This partnership, active since 2003, was inspired by former player and cancer survivor Adam Ramanauskas. The game features unique community engagement activities, such as hospital visits and player interactions with children battling cancer. Beyond the game day festivities, the partnership between Essendon and Challenge has been impactful in fundraising efforts, with over $1 million raised since the partnership began.
Essendon will feature in four free-to-air matches on Channel 7 against the GIANTS, Bulldogs, Cats and Saints, with standalone Fox Footy games against the SUNS, Tigers and Swans.
The Bombers will travel interstate twice in the final rounds, to play Sydney at the SCG in Round 21 and Gold Coast in the final match of the 2025 AFL home-and-away season. The Round 21 match against Sydney will be Pride Game at the SCG, to celebrate and stand united with LGBTIQA+ communities, celebrate our Purple Bombers, providing a platform to listen, learn, and highlight stories.
Ticket on-sale dates can be found below and with 10 games still remaining in Melbourne, its not too late to Be A Bomber in 2025. Four game memberships starting from just $115.
