It’s become one of the great nights on the AFL calendar as the league comes together to recognise the indigenous contribution to football; the annual Dreamtime at the ‘G clash is the next big game Bomber fans can look forward to in 2014.

Beginning at Federation Square with the Long Walk to the MCG, the evening provides a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that indigenous Australian’s do to help make football the great game that it is.

With four indigenous players currently on the senior list and a proud history of indigenous community involvement, it’s a special night for the club as it celebrates both past and present indigenous culture.

The pre-match entertainment is always a highlight of Dreamtime at the ‘G, as the lights go out at the MCG and the crowd is treated to a diverse spectacle of indigenous entertainers.

The match itself is a tantilising prospect, with both teams looking to build upon their best season in a decade as both the Bombers and Tigers look to progress up the ladder.

It’s been the Bombers who have enjoyed success recently in the Dreamtime games, having won the previous two occasions.

The 2013 edition produced a master class by skipper Jobe Watson, collecting 34 disposals and booting three goals on his way to collecting the Yiooken Award for best-on-ground, as the Bombers ran away with a 29-point victory.

It will be a streak the Bombers will hope to continue in 2014, as the club returns to the field after the mid-season bye to tackle the second half of the season.

In what is a season full of highly anticipated games, Dreamtime at the ‘G looks to be one night firmly in the dreams of Bomber fans.

Join the Bomber army today as we strive for 60,000 members in 2014.
