Zach Merrett’s impressive milestone match on Saturday has seen him receive six AFLCA Coaches Votes.

The young midfielder was outstanding in his 100^th senior game, gathering 41 disposals, 14 contested possessions and eight clearances as Essendon just fell short against Hawthorn.

Cale Hooker was the only other Bomber to receive votes from the senior coaches, collecting one vote for his strong performance across the ground where he had an impact both forward and back with 21 disposals, 13 marks and two goals.
