In an extremely unique opportunity, five of the most influential women in football will unite in one room to share their thoughts on the vision for women’s football, and AFLW by 2030.

The outstanding line up of panelists includes: 2017 Football Woman of the Year and inaugural Adelaide Football Club Women's Premiership Coach Bec Goddard; journalist, broadcaster, author and 2017 Football Woman of the Year Finalist Sam Lane; former Western Bulldogs Vice President, and 2017 Melburnian of the Year, author and philanthropist Susan Alberti AC; and broadcaster, journalist and ABC Outer Sanctum radio and podcast host, Emma Race.

With their vast experience spanning professional and personal journeys through football the conversation will reflect on the outstanding success of AFLW in its first two seasons and the positive impact this has had for women and girls in realising their football dreams. But the panel will also look to the challenges that exist in keeping the vision alive and flourishing; which begs the question, what is the vision for AFLW by 2030?

We will look to our panel, who have been leaders in this journey to date, to share with us their vision for AFLW and for women in football.

The discussion will be moderated by award-winning broadcaster and journalist Tiffany Cherry who has been on her own football journey. AFL Commissioner Major General Simone Wilkie, AO has had a distinguished Australian Defence Force career and will provide the keynote address at the event and bring her own unique perspectives to the topic.

The event will also be an opportunity to network with other professionals and business leaders over a two-course lunch and beverages at Zinc, Federation Square. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet members of the Essendon Football Club playing group.

To be a part of this, book your seat, or table now. Tickets are limited and this is an opportunity not to be missed.
