Essendon midfielder Dyson Heppell continues to play a key role in the club's emerging Inidan engagement strategy following his life changing trip to India in his first year of football.

Heppell was a part of a club delegation that visited a number of cities throughout India, strengthening ties between the Essendon Football Club and one of the world's largest populations.

"It is great to see the club continuing to build its relationship with the local Indian community. My short but memorable time in India highlighted to me the importance of Australians embracing Indian culture and it is great to be a part of Essendon Football Club's lead role in this activity," Heppell said.
