Essendon forward Jason Winderlich will make his return from a minor hamstring strain in Saturday morning’s VFL practice match against Richmond.

Winderlich will line up for the Bombers final pre-season VFL hit out at the True Value Solar Centre kicking off from 11am.

It is a strong Essendon outfit that will take to the field with Courtenay Dempsey and Jake Melksham also lining up.

Dempsey is continuing to gain match fitness after an interrupted pre-season and Melksham is serving the final week of an AFL suspension.
